CHALLENGE: Develop a brand for a cooperatively owned grocery store project in a market unfamiliar with the co-op model and already saturated with grocery store chains - Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and Pete's Fresh Market.
SOLUTION: The Sugar Beet Co-op brand was launched as part of a strategic marketing plan to drive awareness and membership in the project with the goal of opening the retail space in 2015.
RESULTS: Enormous buzz was generated through membership events, strategic partnerships, target promotions and brand merchandise. The aggressive campaign drove awareness of the Sugar Beet and accelerated the membership/fundraising campaign that ultimately opened the store on time!
